What I did in Singsing...
26 Feb:
Landed in Changi International Airport safely @ 2045hr.
27 Feb:
Went to Chinatown. Walked all the way through Clarke Quay to Boat Quay and had lunch with Bro. Moved on to Orchard Road. Had a go at the Fossil Customer Service Manager coz she failed to do anything about my broken watch which had been sent for service like half a year ago. To cheer meself up, bought a pair of Levi's engineered jeans. Happy. Bought plenty of Roald Dahl's books due to lack of reading his books when I was young (to engrossed with Nancy Drew back then). Had dindins at Cahaya-so nostalgic that cafe. Used to hangout there during school days.
28 Feb:
Yesh! An excursion to The Singapore Zoological Gardens with Mooch and Bro. Moock had prepared tuna sandwiches and rasins/cranberries cupcakes. Yummy! We had to step on an antiseptic mat before we entered the zoo. Then we were greeted by the Siamangs which I thought the sounds were coming from a very good surround system sponsored by BOSE. But no, they were sounds made by the primates themselves, all natural.. It was a day well spent. With KFC and Ben & Jerry's ice-cream ont he menu. Mooch was clever to have brought along a face towel. I was all sour from my perspiration. The zoo had changed soo much since I last visit it-like 10 years ago.. Loads of nature walks area where u have butterflies, birds and bats flapping around as you walk through. So much to say but too lazy to tell al. Overall, I was ecstatic!
01 Mar:
Went to the Doc's. Throat inflammation. But still had 2 big boxes of durians. Heh. Ibu cooked my fav dish of 'daging goreng'. Stayed in whole day and caught up with local tv dramas.
02 Mar:
Went to the Embassy of India. Got my visa approved after so much chaos in the queuing system. Jalan2 at Harbourfront with my family and my gf, Sarah. Abit jakun of the changes they had done to that area.
03 Mar:
Managed to catch up with Tambunan. Had a round of coffee at Century Square. Gosh! So much has changed since I last been there.
Dev picked me up. Followed by Ms Lala. Then met Pinky in town. All 4 headed down to Rouge. It was a nite to celebrate Lala's 27th and a pre Hen's nite party for Pinky. Dev had to get her Mc D's fries before we go to Rouge. Tried to smuggle them in but the bouncers managed to pick up the scent and had the fries confiscated. Ish. Had a lil corner with comfy sofa for us. Lucky the club serve cemel-cemelan or I would have been really restless all nite. Me and Lala dancing with chicken wings in the air. Pinky never failed to crack us up. Dev aka carrie Bradshaw, had sudden inspiration, was writing parts of the nite. Didn't know nowadays, there are also male podium dancers hired by clubs. Not bad. Another great nite with the girlies. Looking forward to 20 Aug 2007... 5 years pact...
04 Mar:
Hungout with Ibu and her gal pals whom I had known since young. Treated the ibu-ibu to Starbucks coffee. Caught up on all the gossips about that polan, si anu, bla bla bla. Tell u what, there's nothing funnier than gossipping with the old skool.
05 Mar:
Jusri treated me to Gubra. Yes! I love Sharifah Amani! She is soooooooooo comel and a natural talent. Movie was great but pls, can someone tell me what the ending means? Thought Jason was dead? But then, how come he was hugging her in bed at the end? Hmmm... Maybe I should watch it again...
06 Mar:
Met up with Garfield for lunch in town. He was in Singsing for a nite. Gosh. How we all missed him since he had gone back to Brunei. He is one of our non-stewie pal. What to do. Father soo sick. All of us praying for his dad's well being. Insyaallah...
Had a lie in with Ibu and Ayah in bed watching Indon drama Dia, before Tafu came to send me off to the airport at midnite. I missed my family again but hey, they are coming to visit me in Dubz at the end of Mar for 2 weeks! Yay!
07 Mar:
YAY!!! Reunited with Sharky! Trip to India postponed coz both still feeling a lil ill. Anyway, home sweet home to me...
