What a week...
I felt paralysed for the past few days. My lappy is down. Crippled more like it. After reformatting it, I am having problems trying to download MSN Messenger and my CASIO Photo Loader. Sheesh. Till I return from my next trip, I am not able to do anything to it. Guess, I have to leave it to the expert. DIY doesn't help much. Seriously thinking of saving monkies and buy a Macky. Getting used to Sharky's G4. Just need to learn the keyboard shortcuts.
Yesterday was Puan Sri's 31st birthday. what a blast. Jonah, Juling and me slogged in the kitchen for a solid 3hrs. I baked the cake-choc sponge glazed with creamy choc and ultra-light whipped cream (to trick the health concious ones into godging on the cake) and topped with loads of strawberries. Chef was Jonah. Menu -> Ayam Semur, stir-fried mixed vege and bagedil. Juling, kitchen assistant, in-charge of the itty-gritty details. She was slicing, dicing and pounding the belacan away. Should have taken a pic on how she pound the sambal belacan-good trick ah-moi! I was baker cum dishwasher cum decorator. Set up balloons and a banner for our dearest queen.
Puan sri wished he got a tiara when cutting his cake. And he did! Plus a boa as well. Glittery affair. Everyone was handed a party crown and blow pipes. Chaos for a moment. Paparazzis and camera flashes everywhere. Pose pose pose. Sheesh tawook! So much for lamenting about being alone on his birthday...
I have yet to fully recover from my cold and fatigue and I am flying off tonite. Back to Singsing again. This time around, I'll get to me GQ in Melbourne. And I have yet to get her a birthday give which is like a month overdue. I am now getting excited about Ramadan and my birthday too which is in a month's time. Wondering what Sharky has in-store for me. Looking forward to his home-made prezzies. Hehehehehe....
