Singapore Idol..

Thanks DivoJ for introducing me YouTube.com. Heh. Managed to catch up the grand finals. I wasn't into SI at all the last time. But reading Fixa's blog and her urging ons to vote for Hady, I had to watch his performances though the results are already out now.

I have to admit Hady's vocal really really moved me. Especially with Faith. 'You Give Me Wings' was meant for him. He owned the song even before he won the title. I saw a few comments online about him. There's one that says,"Hady has the vocal range but he lacks emotion". I have to say from his performances, yes, I had to agree. He rarely shows the facial emotions for the songs he sang. But I have to say his voice made up for all that. The emotions come through his voice. But I guess, with all the professional guidance u gonna be getting, it'll all show in time.

I can somehow see him do good with an Indon producer/songwriter whatever u call those people in the music industry. He has that RnB/Jazz/Ballad voice that Indons love. When he sang Lagenda, he reminded me of Marcell. Not saying he sounds like Marcell but it's the way he sings. That voice. Dunno how to describe it. Anyway, Hady MIrza, hope u get to choose your kind of music to record (avoid the M'sia kind of ballads). Congratulations though I hope it's not too late.
