Ramadan Kareem...

This is the 5th Ramadan for me in Dubai. Gosh, that's almost how long i've been here. The longest I've been in a job...

I missed the 1st day coz i definitely thot it was on 24th just like it would be in S'pore, instead of 23rd. However, I managed to fast the following day whilst in Munich. Gosh, it iwas lonely to wake up early in the morning to sahur alone. It's the same here in Dubai when Jenab is not around. But I rarely eat for sahur here. Usually, I'll just have a drink and a bit of bread.

Last nite, though we started to have our proper sit down meal a bit late, DivoJ, Juling and me, had Iftar together. Cooked too much. Grilled mackerels with sambal, vege, chilli beef and cucur udang. Best. DivoJ's had a ciggy instead of kurma to break her fast. I had tapioca crackers to start with. Juling decided to fast as well yesterday. She said she will try to fast whenever she's in Dubai and having Iftar with us. She is in training. No, she is not becoming a musi. Just wanna be on diet. Dunno watever for. Congrats for your 1st day of puasa, Juling!

Another thing, I've always said I'm not a pet person. Somehow, the idea of having a cat is starting to grow on me. I am a lil scared of cats though. The idea of them scratching me on the face or biting me on the legs. Ish. But Sharky adores cats soo much. He looked so happy and relaxed whilst playing with Prada last nite. Prada actually curled up against him on the sofa. The entire picture looked so cozy. Hmmm.. maybe when we move out of Dubai. A cat may be a start before we try for kids...
