Just earning brownie points...

Sharky's folks are here for a 2 weeks holiday. They were en route to England from Perth, decided to have a stopover here. It's great to have them around. Garden's gonna be well groomed by the end of this 2 weeks (..cheeky of Sharky..) and some homemade English puddings for me. :)..

Cooked Thai green curry and stir fried vege for dindins last nite. Sharky said I was trying to bribe his mum. I wasn't. So as I served dinner, I told her that I wasn't trying to earn brownie points by cooking dinner for them. I was being a hospitable hostess. Aunty had cooked really delicious stuff over xmas, so now it's my turn to cook for her. anyway, was glad that everything was wiped out. Felt guilty though, 'cause I'd promised to make apple crumble for them but forgot to take along my recipe book to Sharky's. Sheesh.
