Just not another one...

Chatted with Ms 90210 yesterday online. Been a long time. Actually, I just can't be bothered to start a conversation when she's online. No hatred just didn't feel like it. Couldn't avoid her yesterday. Wanted to rattle on about her wedding preparations with TJ-expenditure, renovations, honeymoon, bla bla bla bla. Then, came another invitation for me. An ex-classmate from high school had invited me to her wedding. ???

Not another one who only appears just to announce her wedding and invite EVERYONE. Hellooo! I am not even close to her plus we rarely (more like never to be exact) talked to each other. No contacts whatsoever and all of a sudden, she wants to invite me if I am flying home. Told Ms 90210, I couldn't be bothered with the invite due to the above reasons. Not another Giant scenario. Giant suddenly appeared out of the blue, wanting to make amends about the past and wanted to re-establish the friendship which had long gone for old time sake. A few get togethers, her wedding then *poof* she disappeared. All the promises to get together after the wedding to show us wedding pics and gave us a copy each, and to keep in touch had gone with the wind. Text messages and phone calls ignored. So much effort being put in just so all of us would attend her wedding. Learnt my lessons then. The past is best ignored. Ms 90210 said I shouldn't take it too hard. "At least, they remembered you," she said. Oh, how convenient.

I am not naive. I know who is a good friend and who isn't/. I know who are the ones with motives of being my friend. Not that I am a billionairess but u know how some people befriend someone only because they can gain something out of the friendship. Someone out there, u better watch your moves...
